While the First State National Historical Park is the only national park exclusively in Delaware, several other parks and historic sites spread across the its borders. The Washington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail meanders through 10 states, Delaware being one. The Chesapeake Bay Gateways & Watertrails Network has traces in seven states. The Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail is nearly 3,000 miles long, with parts featuring in Delaware, too.
